She comes to yoga with a background of eight years as an associate professor, teaching mythology, storytelling and creativity.

Jennifer has taught pre and post natal, “baby-mama” yoga, and yoga for children. She has worked at La Europa (www.laeuropaacademy.com) in Utah with adolescent girls with eating disorders, drug addiction and other destructive behaviors where she trained their psychotherapists to become yoga instructors and implemented a yoga curriculum within their academic and therapeutic programs. She has worked with those with cancer and their loved ones. She has been a wellness consultant teaching meditation in corporations and has taught private yoga to silicon valley executives. She has taught yoga and meditation at the Bay Area Pain and Wellness Center (www.bapwc.com)in Los Gatos for those with chronic pain.

Jennifer leads local, national and international yoga retreats, including ‘The Path of the Buddha’ in Nepal and India with Feathered Pipe’s Foundation’s Founder, India Supera. She raises money to support exiled Tibetan refugees and the education of their children, through the Tibetan Children’s Education Foundation (www.tibetanchildrensfoundation.org), and is a Lululemon Ambassador.

A professional artist for many years she began teaching yoga in 1999 and following the death from cancer of her greatest mentor, her father, Jennifer left higher education to teach yoga exclusively. In the words of Joseph Campbell,  “following her bliss.” A practitioner for 22 years,  she is currently captivated by a style of yoga she is developing, “Floating Lotus Yoga,” a flow-based practice on a paddleboard. Balancing on the water serves as a metaphor where the important lessons of yoga are amplified; single pointed focus, consistent breath and a burning desire to enjoy each moment. She lives with her husband Will and their seven year old son, Liam.
