Classes

All of my classes draw upon postures, breathing exercises and meditation practices that are consistent with seasonal needs of the body, whether its Gentle, Restorative Yoga, Vinyasa, Foundations of Flow, Hot Vinyasa, or Tapas ™. While the pace, intensity and heat in the room may change in keeping with each style of class, the basic structure of the postures, breath and contemplative practice remain consistent and slowly change throughout the season. Whether we’re moving therapeutically or dynamically, the classes are exploratory in nature, often playful and are accompanied by a weekly theme that reverberates into our lives off the mat. Private Instruction

Yoga was traditionally never taught to large groups of people. Yoga practitioners worked one on one so the teacher could develop a highly tailored program suitable to the individual needs of the student. In individualized private sessions you will:

  • Permanently reduce stress

  • develop a regular yoga practice tailored to your unique body
  • help heal or recover from existing physical ailments or injuries
  • improve your posture and alignment
  • strengthen and tone your muscles
  • increase flexibility and mobility

  • Learn a variety of ways to meditate
  • Create a highly tailored and individualized yoga practice you can do anywhere
